Mamelodi Sundowns begin their 2025/26 CAF Champions League group-stage campaign on Saturday when they host DR Congo side FC Saint-Éloi Lupopo at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
This will be the first-ever Champions League meeting between the clubs. “Intensity and commitment from the first minute — that will decide everything,” he said.
A victory would set the tone for the group and avenge Pirates’ earlier defeat to Lupopo.
